Following a routine endoscopy to check her oesophageal varices on 30th May 2013 Lexie suffered a major gastro-intestinal bleed. She was transferred to Leeds General Infirmary where she remained for three weeks. She came back to Sheffield on 15th June but sadly her liver disease had progressed significantly and we brought her home to die on 17th June. Lexie passed away peacefully in the arms of nanny and grumpa at 10.30am on 18.06.2013. She is Much Loved.
